the statement was just je....... rentre, as there was nothing(chez,dansetc) after rentre i used avoir but it was wrong, so why is there sometimes nothing after rentrer when used with etre?please
The lesson says to use "il a les yeux bleus" but the test says "Il avait les yeux noisettes", as wrong. I am not sure what is the exception even though I am learning a language of exceptions
I know that it means "himself" or something like that, but it can not be a pronoms tiniques because :
moi=me
toi=you
lui=him
elle=her
nous=us
vous=you
eux=them
elles=them
So clearly for il we use lui not soi !
why do we use "lui" here in the sentence?
im unable to find a translation that makes sense for this phrase?
