regarder vs. observer

Bonjour - I was going to use 'regarder', but changed it to 'observer' just to see if it would work and it was not accepted. Both Collins and LaRousse give 'to watch, or to observe' as translations for 'observer'. Is there any reason why 'observer' wouldn't work in this case?

Choice of topics

I would like to go back and improve A1. My score is currently 77%. How do I get it to have me review what I do not know well, which I thought was the whole point of the system.

Currently 7 of the 10 topics it gives me I have over 90%, and five of those are over 97%. These are not the topics I need to improve! I have no shortage of topics with lower scores in A1, obviously, with a 77% average in A1.

I am just clicking the "Test now" button next to A1.

"Tu sais ce qui est le plus efficace", qui = Who or what ?

Salut tout le monde !

I was asked to translate "tu sais ce qui est le plus efficace ?", j'y ai répondu "do you know who is the most efficient?" mais la bonne réponse est "do you Kong what is post efficient?".

J'ai du mal à comprendre pourquoi les deux ne sont pas corrects, j'apprécierais une explication. Merci beaucoup ! :)

Position of 'dernier'Dimanche dernier but le dernier mois, or dernière fois . Why does the position of 'dernier' precede or follow the noun? Thanks in advance.

Just want to question on ‘dans le dos’ for the wings as being in the back or sur le dos (on the back). Also the text is written in Le Présent though I assume Julien is deciding her attire for future. Maybe it can be in Futur Proche.

Why is it wrong to write it without the 's' ..? i.e. vous étiez couché (not couchéS)I answered the question as if we're talking to 1 person in a formal way

Rendu visited- visiter

You have described that to visit a *place* is "visiter" but visiting a person is rendu visiter. In this example someone is visiting a place - ie an apartment - why is this rendlu visiter, as you state?
