Bonjour Madame Cécile !
Sorry for posting another question.
I believe that it’s good to be frank to my teacher and hence I would inform you that I was unable to understand the answer provided by Monsieur Chris(though it was accurate) to the question on the following link->
https://french.kwiziq.com/questions/view/grammar-queries-based-on-conceptsI request you to please provide me with a comprehensive answer to the same which would enhance my learning.
Merci Beaucoup Madame !
I'm not sure this is directly relevant to this topic but I can't think of a better place to ask the question!
The answer to a question relating to this lesson is "Je vais me faufiler sans qu'il s'en aperçoive." What is the function of "en" in the sentence (and the rule pertaining to its use)? I assume it intends to refer back to the previously mentioned sneaking, but I can't figure out the rule. I know that "en" can be used to refer to previously mentioned phrases starting with "de", but that doesn't seem to fit here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I cannot differenciate between pronoun etre a and le mien la mienne ...
What is the difference in their function (use)
With regards to:
What time do you leave for work?
À quelle heure est-ce que tu pars au travail ?
How much different would it be to ask:
What time do you leave work?
Thanks
According to the lesson on this subject 'se faire' + infinitive is used with a reflexive verb and 'faire' + infinitive when it's not reflexive so I'm confused.
Hi all,
just wondering if the liaison in the following sentence between "sortis" and "ensemble" is required, forbidden, or optional?
"Nous sommes sortis ensemble."
or similarly,
"J'ai pris un taxi."
Does the word intensivement not exist in French? I used it in a test and it was marked incorrect and intensément given as the correct version.
