Is "nous allions demeurer" a correct alternative to "nous allions séjourner?" Thank you!
Do you use c'est if a partitive article follows as well?
How does one conjugate a verb when this occurs? Do you conjugate the verb with its form with the subject or of the object?
I noticed that an example given above " Elles ne l'ont fait expres" means They didnt do it on purpose. Im wondering why it isnt Elles n'en ont pas fait expres. Doesn't en replace phrases after de?

For this lesson example, there is no preposition here (transitive), yet être is still used as the auxiliary? Doesn't this contradict the rule?
the same boots - les même bottes. But I thought French usually had the word order "les bottes même" like the usual French 'noun adjective word order' and même would follow this pattern... mais non... is there an easy rule/way to remember for which words come before or after the noun? Merci

In the exercise, how is "ils" a verb?
Is there a difference in usage between these three translations for "it took me an hour to do something":
"Il m'a fallu une heure pour faire qch"
"J'ai mis une heure pour faire qch"
"Ça m'a pris une heure pour faire qch"
