From the fourth to the seventh. Why is it de quatre au sept and not du quatre? From the explanation it seemed clearly to be du in the lesson. What did I get wrong in this particular case? Thanks.
Is que (qu') + inversion only used with subject pronouns? I noticed this with the examples given. If the answer is 'yes', it may be helpful to draw attention to this fact in the lesson
One of your test has this question "Tu ________ une surprise à ta mère." and the answer is Tu fais une surprise à ta mère., which means "You're giving a surprise to your mother." How come its fais when it says to give? which is supposed to be donner. Hoping for a response thanks
Not sure about this.. I have it wrong but, I suspect for the wrong reason
"________ à l'école." You must go to school.(HINT: use "falloir")Il faut aller à l'écoleIf you are asking YOU must, surely that demands Tu or vous.. il faut, ok, but surely this must then be il faut que tu ailles à l'école?
