What is the difference between
Il fait froid hier soir And
Il faisait froid hier soir
The translation is identical and the lesson doesn’t clarify it.
I just read "soit que" somewhere and I wonder if it means the same. If not, what is the difference? The googled explanation didn't really make sense...
Why is personne considered a plural noun? I thought it needed an “s” to be plural.
Kwiziq smartly points out that I "should" have used an upper case Ç (pasted in here) although there is no way to actually type that character in the exercise. When I try holding the C key, it shows an upper case cedilla c, but does not allow me to enter it.
Duh........
j'aurai reussi ma vie - i will have had a successful life. Other examples of reussir have 'a' and 'de' after it on reverso. Why doesn't it need anything here? And one other thing, I'm asking quite a lot of questions and I always tick the 'get an email notification button' but I noticed just now that I have had two answers on this page, but I was not notified. Is this a glitch?
Bonjour Aurélie, Laura
I was wrong when writing”Je me promène avec mon chien”. Kwiziq has an example in the explanation :” Je me promène dans le parc avec Julie”. The différence here is la place “ dans le parc”,right? I feel confusing. Thanks a lot.
