Why do you use "des rôles intéressants". and "les nouveaux défis ? "
Anique asked a question 12 months ago on this - I think the point of raising it was that although it can be deduced (or guessed) from the lesson, there is no reference or example in the lesson that covers 'la douzaine' or similar, other than 'etc' at the end of the title. It would be worth adding a line or two to cover this in the topic.
Why is “nous nous sommes brossés les cheveux” wrong, your answer says it should be “nous nous sommes brossé les cheveux.? Please would you explain why nous takes a singular ending, as in your examples, you use “nous sommes allés”.
Thank you
Can a translation be found of this afterwards?
What is the meaning of 400 coups?
Thanks
Megan
You really need to get some kind of speed adjustment to these "beginners" exercises I am get frustrated with them. Lines like: "Il y a aussi des nuages noirs dans le ciel" and "donc je pense qu'un orage se prépare" and just too fast. I was feeling happy with myself until I got to the second part and the only reason why I couldn't get them was because of speed!
And yes I will log this with support again.
Thank you
It strikes me that the follow through implied in passé composé for devoir (had to, and did it) is similar to vouloir (wanted to, and did or tried to do it). Does that sound right?
'As you can see, we only ever use the vous form.'
Does that mean you use the vous form even if speaking to a friend with whom you'd normally use 'tu', or does it mean you wouldn't use vouloir imperative at all with such a person (in which case, what would you say?)
Hello,
Your one of the writing practice exercise suggests the translation for "and the accordion used to touch her chin" as "et l'accordéon lui touchait le menton !"
In the lesson above there is no example of usage of pronouns such as "lui".
That is why I am lacking this concept.
Please add this part also above and let me know so that I can enhance my knowledge on the same.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ashish
