In the examples, to know a recipe uses connaître. When used in the quiz for pumpkin pie recipe, connaître is wrong and saviour given as correction. Please elucidate.
Dans la dictée À la laverie automatique, je crois qu'il y a une erreur. Laëtitia parle et elle dit :- Je suis sûre.... mais dans le texte, vous avez écrit "sûr". Comme elle est une femme, j'ai écrit "sûre" et on m'a corrigée.

Why une brosse a dents and not aux because dents is plural?
As an alternative to en bousculant les passants, couldn’t you say
En faisant les coudes aux passants ?
Is it the same as in sports where if you do it in general its faire but if you're doing it in the moment it's jouer?
Why is italienne not capitalized in the phrase "de la Renaissance italienne?" Also, why is the article "le" not used in the first mention "de Florence en Italie", but is used in "ses carnets duvoyage sure l'Italie" ? Has "medicine" gone out of usage for the designation of medical doctor and has "docteur" supplanted it? "Docteur" is applicable to non-physicians (e.g., those with PhD's) and is there another designation for them? Thanks.
Can anybody explain why this is wrong?.. I can see pour as an alternative but why is pendant wrong here as it is, surely, expressing a duration.
Par exemple, la semaine prochaine, pendant Pâques, nous ferons une chasse aux œufs en français !
Giving "pour" as correct.
I wrote ´nous nous sommes brossés les cheveux’, which was marked as only partially correct. It should have been ´brossé’. I don’t understand why the ´s’ shouldn’t be there. Agreement with ‘nous’.
Can anyone help, please?
