What is the translation of? Billy got a cat and a dog than a fish and finally a wheel he did not like them so he sent them back and got a brand new PlayStation
When does "fou" come before or after the noun? I was playing with Google Translate to hear in one sentence between "the crazy horse, the crazy cow, the crazy man." It came up "Le cheval fou, la vache folle, l'homme fou."
"Aux environs de midi" is being red-lined, although it could be cut and pasted directly from Larousse.

Why is it Marc l'a regardée and not Marc l'a regardé. Surely the latter is feminine? Thankyou
How to respond to this question in negation ?
"Quelque chose te plait-il ?"
is it "Rien n'il me plait." ?
I do not understand why "Sams does Aikido" is translated as "Sam fait de l'aïkido.". The lesson says that in front of masculine nouns that de le and les will contract to du and des. Why is this not "Sam fait du aïkido"?
Thank you.
-Il s'agissait de la correspondance qu'avaient
-Il s'agissait de la correspondance qu'avait
Both were given as the correct response - 'avait' in the main response and 'avaient' in the compare your answer box.
Bonjour,
I was wondering in the examples above what the difference is between using en and dans la in these sentences?
Je suis en classe
I'm in class
Je suis dans la classe
I'm in the classe
Is it because the sentence has I'm in THE classe so you use dans + la?
Also is there any exercises such as worksheets with this lesson or any other lessons for prepositions?
Thanks
Nicole
I’ve looked at the forum responses and still don’t understand why ‘je suis dix minutes en retard’ was marked as incorrect. More clarification please.
I dutifully look up vocabulary for the writing exercises, and usually I arrive at the wrong thing and not colloquial thing. Why not just give us a list with the exercise?
