Awkward phrases in the English simple present tense
Tu ________ un magazine aujourd'hui. You read a magazine today.I can't imagine anyone ever saying this in English. It's fine to say You read a magazine every day or If you read a magazine today... or You are (will be) reading a magazine today. In English, You read a magazine today doesn't really make sense, unless it's a kind of imperative mood - You read a magazine today!
