Can't delete question

Question

I asked a question here about a wrong answer that I was confused by but I got the question again and realized I must have just typed my answer wrong the first time because what I thought was correct was indeed correct the second time.  However, this program is not allowing me to delete my original question, only edit it, which is why you are reading this.

It is unfortunate that questions or past answers that may have lost relevance, or may have been wrong can’t be deleted by the poster.
