Can anyone explain why "enfants" is used in the mini quiz in a lesson about forming the plural of nouns ending in -eu? I know it's plural but thought maybe it was a trick question since "enfant" doesn't end in -eu. There are only two questions, so shouldn't they both relate to the lesson?

The passé composé (avoir, with object before the verb) past participle should agree with the object. It does partially (in gender), but not with respect to singular/plural.

Why is ne ... que needed here?In the sentence, "Françoise Dupont et Fantômette n'étaient qu'une seule et même personne," why is the negation used in French. It wouldn't be needed in English.

For "faire une escale à Paris", is it not without the "une" as when I looked it up, it just says "faire escale = make a stopover" ?
