Hi, for “but I used to play it all the time when I was a teenager” we are given the answer “mais j'y jouais tout le temps lorsque j'étais adolescente”. 

I had put “mais je le jouais…”. What’s a good way to interpret why it should be “y” and not “le”?

I have been subscribed to Lawless French for many years and appreciate your lessons, and also the Kwizig quizzes at the end of each lesson, but recently where I read "Test yourself on some of the French grammar used in this article" no quiz follows. Can you tell me why??

Two questions in the B1 tests and I may be dim but I am clearly missing something as I am not sure what the "superieur(e)/inferieur(e) à ) agrees with!

Notre cuisine est supérieure à celle de ce restaurant. 

and 

Son (Her) travail est inférieur à celui de son frère. "Restaurant" and "frère" are both masculine, "cuisine" and "Son (her) travail"  feminine.  I left the "e" off in the Notre cuisine sentence and put it on in the Son travail sentence. Help!

Can we say nous étions censés .... instead of nous devions arriver....?

In “Avec sa nouvelle couche de peinture rouge vif, la petite 2CV paraissait comme neuve”, why is “vif” used instead of “vive” when “peinture” is nf? Thanks, Brian

In a fill-in-the-blank quiz on this topic (Les enfants au restaurant)

I had written as an answer:

"Je crois qu'elle trouve plus rigolo de manger dans mon assietteplutôt que dans le sien!"

The correct answer was "...que dans la sienne."

My logic was that:

1. the pronouns takes the gender and number of the thing being replaced

...what is being replaced is "her plate," which had just been established as masculine.

2. In French, the possessive pronouns agree with the thing possessed and not the owner

3. The possessor is a singular girl, which would explain where a singular feminine "la sienne" COULD come from.

So, why does the correct answer seem to reference the possessor and not the possessed object in this example?

I can’t find how to reference multiple days together, is there an example?

“On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I get up at 6.” which of the following is correct?

Le lundi, mercredi et vendredi je me lève à six heures

or 

Les lundi, mercredi et vendredi je me lève à six heures

or

Le lundi, le mercredi et le vendredi je me lève à six heures
