Hello,

So, the demonstrative pronouns in French, if I'm not mistaken, are: celui, ceux, celle, celles

While in English, they're: this, these, that, those

But if I want to translate: That looks like the car I used to drive. in French, that's Cela ressemble à la voiture que je conduisais.

Why cela and not celle ?

So, when do you actually use the french demonstrative pronouns?

Don't use un, une when stating people's occupations/professions (zero article)

what can I write them in negative sentences?

Tom est avocat = Tom n'est pas avocat

Tom et Pierre sont avocats=Tom et Pierre ne sont pas avocats

Maurice est un professeur excellent=Maurice n'est pas un professeur excellent.

Maurice et Tom sont des professeurs excellents=Maurice et Tom ne sont pas des professeurs excellents

Are these sentences corrects? İf they are not correct can anyone write true correct sentences

Sentence formulations

In the example, "Elle n'est pas stupide du tout!", "stupide" is used as an adjective.

However, the formulation given above says: ne + conjugated verb + pas du tout + (infinitive)

Can someone clarify this please.

Where is this guy's accent from?

He makes "derrière" sound like "dye air". (Of course, one has to deal with accents, but this one made his part of the dialogue quite challenging.)

"descendent" pronunciation

Is the second 'd' in "descendent" pronounced because in the audio file it seems like it isn't? (Les enfants descendent de la voiture) Or is it not pronounced because of the "de" succeeding it?

While I got this sentence right, I wonder what the exact English translation is of "des vacances en amoureux"? Is this the same as "lune de miel" ?
