Why is it 'aux prix' and not 'au prix'.  Isn't prix singular?

Elle enlève sa veste pendant que nous enlevons nos chaussures 

This sentence had me  thinking because as studied before when talking about one's own clothing we use the definate article.

Should'nt it be Elle enlève la veste pendant que nous enlevons nos chaussures

What does  valeurs sûres refer to?

Hello: Please, could someone tell me the difference in usage between "ou" and "où." I'm tripped up once again by the diacritical marks.

can we use afin de for reflexive verbs? is it a je vais dans la salle debains afin de me laver?

In the French written answer there should be a full stop instead of a comma in the line “Bien sûr Madame, On vous apporte ça tout de suite”. The corresponding line in English has a full stop.  Thanks.

One minor detail to improve here: I got confused by "dans le petit bassin" being translated as "to the small pool", which means "au petit bassin", instead the correct English translation is "into the small pool".

Ma question concerne l'utilisation du pronom "dont"  ici. La phrase ci-dessus peut traduire comme soit "The books I think of are remarkable" soit "the books i'm thinking about are remarkable." étant donné que penser peut prendre la préposition 'de', cette dernière formulation permet l'utilisation de "dont", n'est-ce pas ? S'il vous plaît donnez votre avis. Merci en avance.

I thought that il est and elle est are used for unmodified identification of profession, but in the previous sentence prof is modified with de sciences, so does il est work here. Also if we use c'est we would have to add un before prof, but in the exercise it says use c'est or il est\elle est ...etc. So I am confused.

is pire only for adjectives and not for adverbs? eg is it correct to say "je danse le plus mal", but wrong to say "je danse le pire"? thanks!
