Just wondering why 'Qui', which ends in a vowel, wouldn't contract when the following word begins with a vowel, as does the example with 'Que'?

In the notes above, it says:

"You can also use ne pas aimer beaucoup to say 'not like much'. 
Note that beaucoup will come after pas:  "

Is this supposed to say ""You can also use "ne aimer pas beaucoup"?

Could someone help me determine if this construction is correct:

J’ai vraiment toujours beaucoup plus de choses à apprendre.

The translation of "We know that you worked hard to get there..." = "Nous savons que tu as travaillé dur pour en arriver là" 

Is it also possible to say "pour y arriver"? Why "en" if the verb is "arriver à"?
