Under “nous avons pu réinvestir les dons qui nous étaient parvenus”, the “voix passive” lesson is listed beneath it, and not the “plus que parfait” lesson.
But isn’t it that case that this line is an example of plus que parfait, and not of voix passive?
This may seem like splitting hairs, but I find the listed lessons very useful even just from their titles, to guide my understanding of the grammar.
Why "a bu dans ma gourde"? Drank in my flask? Why not "a bu de ma gourde"?
Could you please explain why the sentence « Alors, reste avec nous et sois notre soeur. »* appears to be using the subjunctive form of être if there is no "que" before it. It makes sense that "stay with us" is in the imperative and "be our sister" is subjunctive in that it is a desire/hope/want. Is this just a special case or have I misunderstood the grammar?

The commentary is simply too fast. May I suggest that you have a slower speed, in addition to the present one. Duolingo does this, and I find I need to break down the words -- then, I can play the faster speed, as I know conversations aren't done in a slow speed. But, as of now, the words simply run together and I can't discern individual words.
Why is it 'Elle me rappelle Paula' rather than 'elle rappelle Paula à moi' ?
In the phrase, "où ils lui ont confisqué son portable", Why is "lui" there? If it's a pronoun for "him" why does it need to be there? (The subject is "they", the verb is "confiscated" and the object is "his mobile phone".) What grammer rule requires "him" to be part of this sentence? Is there a lesson that explains the answer (I feel like I've missed something).
