Can we omit 'ne' when we use 'plus' ? For example, 'je sais plus' means 'I don't know anymore'?

Difference between brouillard & brumeux?Besides brouillard being a noun and brumeux being an adjective, how are the two different? It says in the lesson that there is no adjective for brouillard (fog), but a search on word reference shows that brumeux means foggy. How come it says there is no adjective for brouillard then?

Why does "There is some risk" translate to "Il y a un certain risque"instead of "Il y a un risque" ? It seems like saying there is some risk implies more that the risk is certain/sure/definite more than what the particular risk is.

Pronounciation of "J'arrive"I was watching an episode of "fais pas ci, fais pas ça". One person kept telling another to hurry up so they could leave. She responds: - J'arrive ! In a lesson here I just learnt why it's "arrive" rather than "arriverai", but what surprised me was that the final "e" of arrive was clearly pronounced, which I believe is not usually the case. Is there some rule for when to pronounce an "e" at the end of a word?

using arrivée instead of arrivé

In the sentences Ils attendent son arrivée and Ils s'attendent à son arrivée ... why use the feminine arrivée, when Ils (not elles) is the subject and HE is the one arriving. Merci

avoir envie/ avoir besoin de

For me, avoir envie means would like, or wants..., whereas avoir besoin de indicates a need. This distinction seems borne out by the lesson itself, where avoir envie is NOT shown as an alterntive to avoir besoin de...In your lesson you say that in some/certain cases avoir envie can mean "need", but there are no examples of this and there's no explanation. Looking at the examples, it appears that avoir envie CAN mean "need": IF it is followed by "aller". I agree with Sandra (below). This matter shouls not be tested until the distinction is made clear.
