What is the difference between de la Maison and à la Maison? When do you use de and when do you use à.
In the phrase, "Bonjour Lucile, nous assistons en direct à un début de course palpitant...", 'palpitant' seems to agree with 'début' instead of 'course'. I would think that the course is thrilling rather than its début. Is it because le début de course is a compound noun and, if so, the agreement would always be with the principle part, in this case début ?
J'ai écrit "Je me suis mis à voir quelques boutons..." au lieu de " J'ai commencé à voir... ça marche aussi ?

Hello, i dont always want to do dictation. How do i listen to and read the French at the same time?
I do not really understand why we use "ma" instead of "la" with "peau" here. The lesson on this point speaks of using possessive adjectives when the body part is the subject of the verb or for emphasis. Does "je sens le soleil sur ma peau" suggest a particular emphasis on "peau"? That would not be at all apparent to me. Thank you.
In the sentence "Est-ce que cette table vous convient ? " why is convient correct and its not convenez please?
L'adjectif "long" précède normalement le nom et si j'ai "a big white house", c'est une grande maison blanche, n'est-ce pas? Pourquoi dans le cas des cheveux sont-ils "les cheveux longs et raides" et pas "les longs cheveux raides"? Merci.
