Why is the subjunctive used after "C'est une bonne chose qu" but the indicative is use after "Heureusement que"..... both seem to be an expression of preference which normally has the subjunctive following??
When should we use "y" and when should we use là for places
In the 'Fill-the-blanks' Kwiz 'Nos activites pendant les vacances', my answer: 'Les enfants essaieront la peche a pied avec un guide local' was marked wrong, with the correction provided of 'Les enfants essaierons ...' The correction Kwiziq shows is 1st person plural, but I thought that 'The kids will try shellfish gathering with a local guide' is 3rd person plural.

The question was 'are we going out'. Why is the answer on sort and not on va sort
Please explain why the plural is used at the end of this sentence dont les trois bâtiments entourant une charmante place centrale participent d'une atmosphère de petit hameau des plus pittoresques.
Also cabane is a female noun, shouldn’t it be surplombantes in the phrase below
l'une des deux cabanes surplombant le domaine

The question is incorrect in English,hence it prompts an incorrect answer in French. I suggest that the English version be written correctly (singular) so that the student is not misled.
