Que est cet homme? C'est Marc Dupre.This is a test question. Why is this not "Il est Marc Dupre!"? It seems to be a very specific prementioned thing. It is not case 1. Is it really case 2a?

It's about le Futur and le Futur antérieur.The English sentence is: "Marie will meet up with us when we leave the restaurant." In the answer you use le Futur antérieur: "...quand nous aurons quitté..." In English, this would, to me, rather be "...after having left...". Since here it is "...when leaving..." a more simulaneous connection is implied. Would it, hence, be ok to translate it as: 'Marie nous rejoindra quand nos quitterons le restaurant." I have tried to include “depuis”, “durant” and “pour” in the one sentence.J'étudie le français durant deux heures tous les jours depuis mon anniversaire le mois dernier, mais j’ai seulement étudié durant quatre-vingt-dix minutes hier soir tellement je devrai étudier pour deux et demie heures demain

Late or early in FrenchWhat is used most often in French, the “être” expression or the “avoir” expression? The “avoir” expression sounds like an intangible expression of quantity, j’ai deux bouteilles de lait mais j’ai deux heures de retard ou deux heures d’avance.

Depuis, depuis…

Would be good to have further explanation of when you use the present (which we all know is 'normal' with depuis) and when you use the the passé composé. I realise it's quite complicated, but using three examples with two different tenses, without acknowledgement, is rather confusing. (Ah, just read the existing comments. See I'm not the first to feel this!)
