Does it say 'la Saint Nicolas est célébré' with a masculine adjective because Nicolas is masculine ?
Hiii so here you have showed us examples but haven't actually explained the function of "ne". What is the point of using "ne" on its own? (I mean when not being paired as ne...pas/ne...que/ne...plus)
I've asked my boyfriend who is french and even he can't explain it to me either haha.
I note a comment below (a year or so ago) that the misspelling of "excentricty" in the words to look up had been corrected. If so, it has slipped back again. Easy typo to make - I managed to hit 'cc' combination by mistake and ended up with "eccentricité " in the transcription ! Which is the 'correct' Franglais spelling, je me demande !
Hi everyone, I have a question. I am struggling with the les and the leur.
Why is it "les" if it is "Je les ai aidés à déménager", but "Les enfants vont au bord de le mer; je leur ai acheté des vêtements d'été."
Thank you in advance.
Why does this translate to my garagec is small wouldn't that be mon garage est petit?
If I have "Je parle aux enfants" will it be
"Je leur parle" or "Je les parle" ?
When to use which?
I hear the reader pronounce the "t" at the end of "fait". Is this correct?
