I would like to know what the " l' " refers to in this sentence:
Seriez-vous partis si je vous l'avais demandé?
Would you have left if I had asked you?
I can only surmise that it means something like:
"Would you have left if I had asked it of you. ""Les enfants demandent des bonbons". I used "du" as the bonbons are not counted. Am I to use "des" because the bonbons CAN be counted, even though they are not in this sentence?
Why is it le nez but ses lèvres?
hi im new here i just want to say hi
Merci, j'ai apprécié. Ce qui pourrait être amusant, c'est d'avoir un exercice d'écoute où l'on fait un dessin à partir d'instructions vocales !
im sure this has been asked already but I can't get my head around why imperfect is used for "les festivités commençaient VERS vingt heures" and then past tense is used for "VERS vingt-trois heures trente, tout le monde s'est dirigé vers le terrain de foot" when both sentences says towards a time ???
< Il va rester dedans > is being red-lined for "he is going to stay inside", but it is correct too.
