il se maquille - he is making himself up; il se fait maquiller - he is having his make up done - is this right?
The English sentence, "...know that nearly 150 nudist beaches are dotted along the French coastline." uses dotted. The translation uses 'jalonner'. I was wondering if 'parsemer' could be used in this context.
Following on from my question about queue and line.. if I recognise the problem and simply do not answer the question.. it keeps coming up time and again as the first question in a Kwiz.. am thinking it would be easy enough to create a rule that if somebody did not answer a question three times in a row it was highly likely that they were ignoring the question and Kwizbot should stop asking it.. at least for a week.

I was wondering when listening to the sound Tu is it me or does it sound like when you say je?
Thank you
Nicole
How to make sure your translations are correct in English to French
In the sentence J'adore la vie à la montagne, I translate that as I love the life in the mountains. I was wondering why it isn't J’adore la vie dans les montagnes. Could anyone explain please?
Merci beaucoup
