Writing as someone whose education didn’t include instruction in all the tenses - or, more truthfully, I just wasn’t paying attention - I’d like to know when to use subjunctive present instead of plain ordinary present. I suppose I could just Google it but I’d rather find it in Kwiziq. This is more an observation than a question. Thanks for your time.

Vous ( visit) ...............ma mere

In the phrase, '"ce qui m'a enfin permis de m'ouvrir" why isn't there an "e" at the end of "permis", since the direct object, "m", is a woman?

At the beginning of the lesson, it is written that "En, au and aux" are used for countries, which I'm fine with, but later on it also says that "En, dans la and dans l' " are also to be used with countries. (Regions, states and countries) My question is, if I wanna say that I'm going to a musculine country and I have both Dans le / Dans l' and Au, which one do I use? I'm so confused!

Why is it "je te l'avais dit" and not "je te l'ai dit!"?

Just wondering if "le repas du midi" is indeed correct for the midday meal? (I thought that it was "le repas de midi", but maybe they are both correct?)

The example cited in the page of instruction regarding ''Expressing intervals of dates and times in French = from ... to' is 'The festival lasts from the 24th of July to the 5th of August'/'Le festival dure du 24 juillet au 5 août'. 

I am therefore puzzled by the answer to the fill-in the-blank question 'Le festival dure ________ mai/The festival lasts from the third to the tenth of May'. My answer was 'du troisième au dixième', while the answer provided as a correction was 'du trois au dix'

Perhaps I'm being stupid, but my answer seems to follow the example better than the correction. Where is my error?

1. My dictionary suggested "roman d'amour" for romance novel, but the accepted answers only included "roman à l'eau de rose," "roman sentimental," etc. Is there a difference?

2. I used "réussite" instead of "succès" just because it seemed to be repeated too often, but it seems like it wasn't an accepted answers some of the time; is there a difference between the two?

Petite question. Je n’ai rien trouvé concernant un doute que j’ai où le sujet dont on parle s’agit de plusieurs noms et avec quel mot on doit faire l’accord.

Exemple:  La liste des mots que j’ai apprise.
