On a writing exercise (Cette Semaine) was asked to translate : On Monday, I went shopping with my son. My response - Lundi, j'ai fait les magasins avec mon fils. It didn’t match answers given - Lundi, je suis allé faire les magasins avec mon fils. Is there anything wrong with my answer? Went shopping is translated similarly here.
why is: You had your curtains changed, translated as "Tu as fait changer tes rideaux."
I understood that "had" uses the plus-que-parfait?

Does it matter the Order in which the Male or Female is used, and hence the usage of l'un or l'une ?? How is this decided? Because l'autre is always gender neutral anyways.
I am seeing progress on these B2 listening exercises now that I keep an eye on the vocabulary list while listening to the entire passage read aloud several times. (Also, it is helping me to repeat the phrase aloud before starting to type it.) I'd like to suggest you include "lame" and "le manche" in this vocabulary list because they are also words of a somewhat specialized nature.

Here baby in French means "le bebe" as "le" here is it a male baby or a baby in general and if it is a female baby can we replace it with "la" as in " la bebe "
I noticed that in your audio of "j'étais allé", there is not a liaison. Is it optional?
