Why is "elle va ne pas partir" wrong?
"Je n'ai pas de X."
Should "X" be in the singular form or in the plural? Does it depend on which form it was in in the question?
eg. "Avez-vous une voiture ?" -> "Je n'ai pas de voiture." but "Avez-vous des chaussures ?" -> "Je n'ai pas de chaussures." ?
Je te le dirai quand tu auras promis de te taire. Where did the pronoun le come from?
I feel that this is an ambiguous statement and could be passé composé (as the act of transition) or l'imparfait (as a state of being). As in "My mother was Oriental, but my father came from Europe" vs. "They came from Europe to go to the funeral". Compare: "Once upon a time, a king lived in his castle."

If the verb is se passer, should it not be "Comment tes vacances se sont-ils passées"
If the verb is simply passer, should it not be "Comment sont passées tes vacances"
I found I had more difficulty with the punctuation that the words! A lot of English writing increasingly drops commas these days, and it might be helpful to know the French rules! For example, I wouldn’t put a comma before "in Spain" in the first sentence.
Can you please share the rule regarding placement of 'Ne...Aucun/Aucune' in Compound Tenses?? It does not seem to follow the regular rule. It would be great if it is also added to this lesson.
