Why pieces en chocolat instead of pieces au Chocolat? I always thought the principal ingredient of a food used "a la" or "au"..
1. la pêche industrielle cause de graves dégâts aux écosystèmes marins.
2. les générations futures ne connaîtront jamais la riche biodiversité de nos océans.
In the above two sentences, is there any reason why riche and graves go before the nouns they qualify?
The lesson to explain when to use le subjontif or l'indicatif doesn't, in plain language explain the trigger to cause one to use either tense. It needs to more deeply describe when and why each tense is chosen. This, of course, is my opinion as a student.
Is the audio for “genre/s” ok? I’m not hearing it as that word. It’s the last sentence “qui est remplie d'objets en tout genre”.
In the first paragraph "Santa claus " is used instead of Pere noel. Can we use santa claus in french as well??
Is there a way to get a quiz on a particular lesson in the Notebook rather than a quiz on everything in the notebook? Thank you.

Do you lose 2 marks for each error you make in the translations?
First up, this a lovely poem. Second, is there a context where I should use "magique" and a different condition under which I should use "sorciere"?

Thank you
Je n'ai pas encore trouvé le trésor !
I haven't found the treasure yet!
Je ne pense pas encore à mon avenir.
I don't think of my future yet.
It seems to me that "not yet" expresses something that's ongoing, so should always be in the present like the second example. In the first example I'm still searching for the treasure, so shouldn't it be in the present? Is it the "haven't" that changes the tense?
Thanks in advance.
