Shouldn't you vs you should notIf "Vous ne devriez pas être à l'école?" means Shouldn't you be at school? How do you say "You should not be in school"?

Pronunciation of "ai"

I'm really confused, so I thought in prnounciation "ai" = "ay" as in "way."

But it's being pronounced with J'ai with "i" as in "ice." What's going on?

Please review the logic behind "Quand on ouvre les cadeaux ?" being incorrectPlease go back to the logic behind why "Comment tu vas" (question - subject - verb) is correct, but "Quand on ouvre les cadeaux ?" is an incorrect question form. They both have the same structure of Question - subject - verb. Thanks you so much for your help. Tom
