Family = people?

I was surprised to see on one of my tests that "à ma famille" could be replaced by "y," since I thought you could not use "y" as a pronoun for people. Could you use "y" in place of "à mes amis" as well, for example -- as in "Je pense à mes amis." --> "J'y pense"? Can you please clarify this rule? Thanks!

I don't hear this being pronounces as préférerais BUT as préférais.

I thought réunir was conjugated as an ´ir’ Verb.if it is conjugated as an ´ir’ verb The shouldn’t the third person plural in the present be réunirent and not réunissent? If it’s nor conjugated as ´ir’ then The explanation for it being irregular is not available. Does that make sens or have I missed something?

General suggestion

Hello just a general observation/suggestion, sometimes a lesson is recommended by the bot but then we can't take the mini quiz because we already took it recently. So probably the bot should have recommended other lessons instead?
