I think it would be helpful to see more test questions using lorsque, après que and une fois que rather than just 'quand' in the Futur Antérieur.
I just knew the word défi. And I would imagine the word comes from défiance. Is there any difference between these two words? Thank you.
Désormais pourrait-il marcher mieux dans la dernière phrase? - je comprend le sens de la phrase à être que l’audience ne le savait pas auparavant mais désormais on le sait bien.
Hi
I have a question I'm learning about the inversion in the conditional present and I was wondering about these two sentences?
Why do you not conjugate passer?
(Could we) passer Chez vous après le spectacle? Pourrions- nous is the answer
But with this sentence
(Would he) signer cette pétition? Signerait- il would be the answer
I'm very confused and help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Nicole

And
Vous aimez vous promener ici? Is correct.
From the above notes, I undertand "les tous livres"=all the books
and tous can be also used alone to refer to all (of something mentioned previously)
But I cannot find the explanation of "les a tous". I know it means “all of them” but what the role the "a" serves here?
Merci beaucoup!
Hi
Can we say il y avait beaucoup de "personnes" instead of "gens"?
Thanks
Are there rules about when to use the abbreviation for heure? For example, huit heure or 8h or huit h. Also, when typing 8h is there a space between the number and the abbreviation or no space (8h or 8 h)?
