Lots of the translation inferred the conditional ie. "ils nageaient jusqu'à la bouée" , "They used to swim ..." your translation "They would swim up to the bouy". They would swim..., should it not be "Ils nageraint. This is extremely confusing

Pronunciation of "middle e"

It seems that with some adverbs formed by adding -ment to the feminine adjective form the "middle e" is pronounced and others not (example: lentement (not pronounce) and fortement (pronounced). Am I hearing this correctly? If so, is there a rule when to pronounce and when not to?

Hello,

How does one know how to conjugate pronouncements like "Vive les fiancés"? My first instinct is that vivre should use the third person plural of le subjonctif here, because les fiancés is third person plural. However, is it "vive" instead of "vivent" because it is a fixed expression? Any more examples or fiches pédagogiques would be helpful, thanks!

I know that me changes to moi, te changes to toi, what about se? Does it become soi?

Eg: tu m'assieds --> assieds-moi

Tu s'assieds --> assieds-soi??
