Kwizik should be more tolerant of "minor" spelling mistakes. Writing "... cause de bruit" instead of " ... cause du bruit" does not mean I don't understand the grammar point!
Hi, the lesson states that 'même si' means 'even if' and 'even though'. There are no example sentences of 'même si' being used in an 'even though' context.
Do I assume that all the 'bien que' ('even though') examples would work equally well if 'même si' was substituted for 'bien que'?
In this sentence, the word 'chaud' is referring the warm temperature outside, or does it mean spicy? as the words onion and garlic were mentioned preceding this.
Does the word 'chaud' means spicy as well as high in temperature just like in english?
I’m still struggling with the issue Adrienne raised. I get the “correct answer” but the Gruff says that it’s the option with only two que can only be used without a specific noun. But the example in the lesson clearly says Qu’est-ce que c’est un stylo is acceptable. I also got marked wrong on the baguette question.
I was under the impression that for the abstracts, we could use en... so when I wrote en besoin , I was marked wrong ... pls explain why?
