Why do you use "des rôles intéressants". and "les nouveaux défis ? "
On my computer the hints are shown on the phrase after they are needed - eg tout le monde. I have seen this on many of the excercises.
Why is "The monster revealed white, sharp canines" = Le monstre a révélé des canines blanches et pointues"
I thought the monster = masculine plural and blanches = feminine plural. They don't match up.
I hope a grammar lesson based on character traits chart with gender and number
bonjour
can you give me examples of faire sauter please?
In the examples above we use tout in front of "heureuse" which is feminine and use toute in front of "hérissée ". We do the same for heureuses and honteuses.
What is the difference exactly for these two usages of tout and toute ?
I am trying to understand why one needs to ad the D' in the sentence D'où venez-vous?
why not simply say : Où venez-vous? Why is the de important here?
I am a little confused. The lesson says that in the negative, de l' becomes d' (in front of a vowel or silent h). However, the example given: C'est de l'huile d'olive ? -Non, ce n'est pas de l'huile d'olive.
Shouldn't it then be: Ce n'est pas d'huile d'olive.
In a related doubt, are these sentences correct:
Tu as de l'argent? Non, Je n'ai plus de l'argent. (Do you have some money? No, I do not have any money.)
or should it be: Non, je n'ai plus d'argent.
I have a question about when subjects are going somewhere. Sometimes we use "à____". why is this different?
"on naviguerait jusqu'en Martinique "
Why jusqu'en?
Thanks
