how do i check that i have correct meaning?
I presume it’s the speaker, but the speaker sounds female.
I am having great difficulty with this despite various peoples attempt to explain. Could someone give a few more examples in English, just breaking the sentence down and showing how you understand which is the subject and which is the object. Thank you!
Why are we using "Fantaisie" and not "fantasme or fantastique" - as it my research shows "fantaisie" is to do with the music?
Next is why is it "Magie" and not "magique"? As my research shows that magie is to do with magic tricks whereas "magique" is to do with something amazing (i.e the film)
Next why is "S'assurer que" followed by the subjunctive "soit"? I've looked up this phrase and it says it's always followed by the indicative?
1- I am unsure of when to use "personnes" and when to use "gens." I had, "Disons une trentaine de gens."
2- Why is it "Ma mère adore le fruit de la passion et l'ananas" with the definite article but "...mais les enfants préféreraient du chocolat" ?
I thought this was a general opinion and therefore chose the definite article "le" for "chocolat," as well.
Video not available in the US :(
Just to ask why it is "de conseils" , not "des conseils" ?
Is it because it is a continuation of "plein de" ?
I believe plein de is invariable, i.e. would never use des.
e.g. "plein de trucs" , "plein de choses"
Thanks
Paul.
The answer " en dernier septembre " given. The durations mentioned in this lesson does not put the "duration" in front of the proper noun. Why? is this a mistake!
