I'm confused by the correct answer to this question:
>>La population du Nigeria est de plus de ________ personnes.
I wrote "un cent million de". However, the correct answer was "cent millions de".
Why do we drop the "un" in this case (unlike the examples)? Why is "millions" plural, even though it is only 1 million?
I understand about the "l'orientation" part, but shouldn't this read "Je n'ai jamais eu DE sens . . .." ? In negative sentences, we are told to use "de" after a negative express in order to express no/any, which seems to be exactly what this sentence is doing. Why translate "I've never had A good sense of direction" with a definite article?
Un/une become de/d' in negative sentences in French (French Indefinite Articles)
For "these old objects" I tried "ces objets anciens" and was corrected to "ces anciens objets". Is ancien going before the noun here because there is some sense of former-ness (the objects aren't what they used to be), even though they are still objects?
Bonjour, je pense qu'il y a une faute dans le texte en dessus. "Je ne me lasse pas..." Il y a la lettre "i" qui manque dans le verbe, n'est-ce pas?
Why we use "va" instead of "vas"? I thought it was "vas" since they communicate with "Tu".
I don't understand "nous a le plus marqués" Maybe it should be "nous avons le plus marqués" ?
Bien joué... always masculine even when talking to a woman????
The audio for the complete exercise has some sections missing
I think Il a économisé en secret should have been accepted
