Can we also use 'habituellement'?
For des bruits "rigolos," can I use "drôles?"
You show the flag mounted with both the blue side and the red side against the flagpole. This is clearly incorrect.
I notice nearly all the subjects in these examples are proper nouns (with one qui?). When using a subject pronoun instead, would it become ce /c’ to avoid the il/elle + determiner construction ?
For example:
Elle est intelligente —> c’est la fille la plus intelligente de la classe
Cela m'a pris 2 heures mais j'en ai tiré beaucoup de belles phrases, et je a été surprise par le suite quand j’ai regardé mon horloge. Bien écrit. Amusant. Merci. : )
Why not just "jusqu'août"? What does the 'en" bring that is not already there? Thanks.

The fill in the blanks exercise was about people arriving in a new town, to find the streets empty of people. "Tous les magasins de la ville étaient fermés." This was followed by a sentence in the past tense (walking on empty streets from 3pm till 5pm) Then came the sentence being queried (post below). Thanks so very much to all who responded earlier.
