Just wanted to check if this is a mistake. I found this on Duolingo.
Nous ne nous sommes plus jamais parlé.
Why is the verb parlé not agreed with the reflexive pronoun?
Merci très beaucoup.
i want to know the difference between " interview, reportage, et entretien" thanks. Great page, very useful!
Bonjour,
I was working on a quiz and I put "La situation devienne incontrôlable" but that answer is wrong? Apparently, even though la situation is feminine, the answer is "La situation devient..."??
brrrrrrrrrrrrrr
The phrase in English was "I will introduce her to Amelie" (sorry I don't have accents). The translation given is je lui presenterai Amelie which I take to mean "I will introduce Amelie to her". Should it not be "je la presenterai a Amelie"?
I believe the explanation in the Q&A for using the present tense in place of a conjugated verb should be part of the main lesson as opposed to surfacing in the Q&A as it is an important exception to the general grammar rule and subject of the lesson.
This appeared in my test. The question I have is not around the the subject pronoun, but about "ont de jolies poupées". Is this a rule regarding "avoir de"? So whatever object follows it, whether it's singular or plural you always use "de"?
I think in informal conversations we say like -
Il est pas jeune
instead of the more formal and more 'grammatically correct' one:
Il n'est pas jeune!
Is it correct !? Responde Sil vous Plait!
