There is discordance between the hint and the 'best answer' indicated.
The best answer was listed as " ... ravi de TE rencontrer" with the answer "...ravi de VOUS rencontrer" getting the strikethrough and relegation to the 2nd line!
Both accepted, which is lso not quite right if 'vous' is needed in the social context.
(And the final transcript uses 'enchanté' alone, which although correct, would make the clue to use polite 'vous' redundant.)
Why was "il ferait du soleil" marked as partially correct (as opposed to
"il ferait beau")?
Button sayes all grammar and vocab but is only a list of !essond. Betty helpful but no. vocabulary to check against. The audibly keeps putting me on b1 but I'm struggling g with this lesson
Above it says that with a noun it should be:
avoir besoin de/d' + (article) + noun
but then below it says:
Verbal phrases like avoir besoin de don't use the definitive article (or partitive article).
These seem contradictory. If I want to say:
"You need flour"
Do I say: "Tu as besoin de farine" or "Tu as besoin de la farine"
Could someone please clarify with respect to both countable and uncountable items.
