A similar question has been asked but I dont understand why "à" is needed when "regarder" means "to watch"? So why is the extra "à" needed? I couldn't find anything that says "rester" is followed by "à" anywhere?

It says: 

You use à when describing going to or being in a city.  

And you use de to indicate being, coming or returning from a city. 

So then how do you decide if you want to express being in a city since you use both de and à?

In the sentence 'On avait  alors,ouvert les rideaux pour découvrir, éberlués..etc'

Why is 'éberlués' not singular to agree with'on'.

Is it because plurality is implied?

Is there a lesson on this to clarify?

The title reads, Autour du monde en moto, but in the first sentence of the text we are told to use "à" moto which actually seems correct since a motorcycle is an individual mode of transportation.  Maybe you could fix the title?

do these adverbs need to agree with the object's gender?
