Ordering multiple stress pronouns (other than moi)In the test, I was marked wrong on this question.
________ devez prendre une décision.
You and she need to make a decision.
☑️ Toi et elle
❌ Elle et toi
Elle et toi was marked incorrect, while Toi et elle was considered the correct answer.
However, according to the lesson, the only rule pertaining to the order of multiple stressed pronouns in the subject is that if moi is among them then it must be last. It uses Toi et moi as the example, but the text says moi should be last, not that toi should be first.
Am I overlooking something obvious, or is there a secret rule? I can’t believe that I am the first to encounter this, but I don’t see this exact issue discussed in the Q&A.
Thank you for clarifying,
Dusty
The examples in the lesson use the pluperfect before this expression but why? In English it translates in to the imperfect?
Why is there not a liason between "il est allé " for he looked for a ladder ?
I am very unsure about the passive tense I am notice quite a bit of passive tense in my passage.
Hello Aurelie,
there is a broke link to this topic. I cannot add it to a notebook.

To win , I used remporter instead of gagner. Is there any problem with that ?
Bonjour,
I am missing the distinction in the use of savoir vs connaitre with facts. A good example is "to know a recipe".
It seems to have it memorized would use savoir, but to know of the recipe would be connaitre. But, from reading the lesson, it seems connaitre would be used in both instances.
Please help!
Thank you
I found this exercise really difficult but the C1 dictées seem easy as we are given so much help in the form of vocabulary and expressions.
Would it be possible for us to be given expressions or difficult constructions before we start the exercise? I felt so disheartened after this translation!
For “competition” I used the word concours instead of compétition; is there any problem with that?
