Can you explain why, in the sentence "quand j'ai envie de viande", we do not have a future tense after quand? Thank you.

I know que and a vowel is qu' but does the same rule apply to qui?
I get that "Mes pieds sentent bon" means "My feet smell good." So how would one say "My feet feel good"?
Would it be "Mes pieds se sentent bien" ? I got confused because the subject is "mes pieds" not me. (?)

« Les cloches sont passées ce matin pour apporter les œufs de Pâques » but in the other quizz « Il a passé l’hiver dernier à Chamonix ». In my mind it should be avoir in both sentences.
